COVID-19 RESPONSE – 2020 CBEEO Reporting Deadline Extended to November 23, 2020

In light of the COVID-19 emergency, the City extended the benchmarking reporting deadline for the Commercial Building Energy Efficiency Ordinance (CBEEO) to November 23, 2020.  If your building is due for an audit in 2020, the deadline for submitting the audit report has been extended to December 31, 2021. The City appreciates the efforts of property owners and managers to benchmark and report their annual energy use. We encourage reporters to continue working to benchmark buildings and submit the reports as soon as you are able. Please contact us with any questions. You may also refer to the “Resources” tab of our website to access updated compliance guides, and links to webinars and trainings, as well as COVID-19 recovery resources.
